His Story...

Patknot73, his real name, Patrick, was born on November 27, 1973. He is a singer and guitarist in the group Reign The Darkness .

He is also responsible in a public administration. He is divorced and father of a daughter born in 2000 and takes care of two twins born in 2005, children of his current partner with whom he has shared his life since 2010.

He comes from a family of musicians; his father sang and played the guitar, while one of his aunts was first violinist in the philharmonic orchestra of Rome. From the age of 5, he started music with an elderly Bontempi keyboard. He then studied 27 years at the Geneva Conservatory, from music theory to the piano, including the violin, sight reading, singing, orchestration and musical analysis. He also learned self-taught guitar, bass, drums, flute, didjeridoo and harmonica.

The first three letters come from his first name; Patrick, the other four come from a group of which he is a very big fan; Slipknot. Finally, his year of birth is 1973.

Musical Influences

Metal such as Slipknot, Kaunis Kuolematon, Alter Bridge or Shinedown, but also musical poetry such as Jacques Brel, Brassens, Georges Moustaki, or great symphonies such as Beethoven or Mahler.

However, he does not appreciate the current music, the one we can hear on the radio.
