The Members

This group is composed of two brothers:

-Daniel Deputy (December 18) - Vocals and guitar;

-David Deputy (July 1st) - Drums.

Their Story

"Daniel and David both grew up listening to pop punk music. Daniel received a guitar on his twelfth birthday and discovered his passion for listening to and playing music. A few years later, Daniel joined his first band, Blank Pages, and began producing music on his own and playing shows in Indiana and its surrounding states. In early 2011, as Daniel was preparing for his biggest gig to date, the band was suddenly in need of a drummer and David volunteered to fill that role. At the time, David was an inexperienced drummer, but he managed to learn every song to perform within three months and performed at the show with excellence. Shortly after this, David became the band's permanent drummer. Daniel and David have been playing music together since that concert in 2011. After several member changes and extensive touring with Blank Pages for nearly a decade, they decided to wrap up Blank Pages in 2018 and start a brand new project called Winona Avenue."

About The Name

"We chose the name Winona Avenue because we grew up on a road called ''Winona Drive,'' Daniel explains. "The name Winona Drive was already taken by a music production studio and we didn't want to confuse anyone, so we decided to go with the name Winona Avenue." David adds that "Winona Avenue can be used as a metaphor for a beginning. We all follow a route throughout our lives. Ultimately, it's the decisions we make, how we handle circumstances, and who we choose to follow that will determine where we go. Even if it seems like you are completely at the end of the road or have nowhere to turn, there is always hope for a new beginning."
