His Story

Monk, wh'os real name is Sonny Bellonie, is a composer, beatmaker and sound engineer born on December 05, 1994.
Musician in several projects, he plays mainly guitar and bass but also piano and drums. He can also sing / rap.
It was at the age of 12 that he started playing music by taking guitar lessons and became passionate about composition and recording around the age of 14.

He is part of several bands:
-Fuzekin (Electro Jazz);
-Sanctuary (Blackened Death Metal);
-Slow (Future Soul).

About The Name

“My stage name is“ Monk ”. It is the contraction of "Jamie Monkey" which is the name I have used for years on the internet.
One of my aunts told me that I had big arms and big hands like a monkey, hence the Monkey. "
